A pop, gospel and Motown choir has signed a deal with the world's biggest record label.
Hemel Hempstead Rock Choir has landed a multi album deal with Universal, home to the likes of Lady Ga Ga, Take That and The Rolling Stones.

The choir, which rehearses at The Salvation Army's branch in Waterhouse Street on Thursday evenings, includes adults, teenagers and children among its line-up.

Voices from the group will be among the 1,000 from Rock Choirs across the region featured on the organisation's first album.
