THE wait is over for cricket clubs in and around Dacorum as the first round draw for the Adex-sponsored Gazette Cup and Peter Wright Trophy competitions can finally be revealed.

Connecting the borough

TWO big networking events in March will give businesses the chance to get together and do some good for society.

The Connect Dacorum free Networking Lunch, at Haven House, London Road, Hemel Hempstead, will be held on March 6 and will have a theme of volunteering.

Guest speakers Georgina Lavendar, owner of Georgina’s Science, will talk about becoming a governor for Woodfield School. Daniel Adams, general manager at Keystone Distribution will be talking about their team challenges. And Heather Allen and Lorraine Rockminster of the Volunteer Centre Dacorum, will talk about volunteering opportunities.

l The Dacorum Big Business Quiz 2012 will be held at Shendish Manor, Hemel Hempstead, on Thursday, March 22 from 7.30pm.

The cost to take part is £250 per table of 10 people which includes supper. All proceeds from will go to the charity Community Action Dacorum.
