Hertfordshire’s police and crime commissioner is joining forces with the county’s chief fire officer.

Roy Wilsher will become chief executive in David Lloyd’s office on April 1, retaining his fire service role but reducing other commitments.

The appointment was approved at a meeting of the Police and Crime Panel on Thursday.
