Your chance to go coast to coast for a good cause
The charity Children Today is looking for real adventurers to join them on the defining multi-sport journey of the British Isles to raise funds for vital equipment for disabled children.
The Coast to Coast Challenge takes place over the weekend of September 16 and 16, covering a route across one of the most famous mountain landscapes in the world by bike, foot and kayak.
It covers just over 100 miles, a journey that takes in some of the most iconic locations and amazing views in the Scottish Highlands: Loch Ness, the Great Glen, Ben Nevis and Glen Coe.
This event is designed for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness who has a sense of adventure and enjoys the beautiful outdoors. It is set over two days, with a fully-equipped overnight camp at the mid-point close to the shores of Loch Ness.
The charity’s Emma Fawcett said: “Anyone taking part will not only have a tremendous adventure but also the rewarding experience of knowing they are helping to provide vitally-needed specialised equipment for disabled children.”
“You can do it on your own or with a team mate; all you need to do to take part in this amazing opportunity is to raise a minimum of £300 sponsorship per person with a £25 deposit on registration.”
