IT’S Tractor Crazy at Mead Open Farm this week and Shaggy the Cow Mascot has been helping the farmers coordinate the arrival of the vintage tractors.
During the five days of extra tractor fun, children can see six working tractors (with the earliest dating back to 1936), watch the farmers go head to head in the hay bale challenge and board plenty of tractor and trailer rides
Said Matt Heast, owner of Mead Open Farm “This event is a must for all young tractor enthusiasts. The tractor and trailer rides are always popular and we hope families will enjoy the extra tractor fun.”
Also at Mead Open Farm, children can run wild in Shaggy’s huge PlayWorld, pat more animal friends, race go karts and play Crazy Golf. And new for 2011 is the Giants Rock Climbing Wall too.
Based in Billington, near Leighton Buzzard, Mead Open Farm is open daily from 10am. For more information and prices, visitors can go to www.meadopenfarm.co.uk.
