A man aged in his 70s was allegedly assaulted during a road rage incident.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the altercation which happened after two vehicles crashed in Chipperfield Road, Kings Langley, at around 5pm on Sunday, April 5.

Both drivers stopped and an argument broke out.

It is alleged that the driver of one of the vehicles, a man in his 70s, was assaulted.

Assistant investigator from Herts Police Stuart Murray said: “I would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or the events prior to it and has yet to come forward. If you saw what happened or the two vehicles before the incident, please contact me as soon as possible.”

The vehicles involved were a grey/silver Range Rover Evoque and grey Audi.

A 48 year old man from Chipperfield was arrested on suspicion of assault and released on police bail until May 13.
