Apprentice contestant Natalie Panayi managed to avoid the wrath of Lord Alan Sugar during the first instalment of the BBC’s hit show.

Although Natalie, who grew up in Chipperfield, was on the losing girls team in a challenge that tasked contestants with selling goods in bulk, she was not called back into the boardroom to see if she would be fired by the multi-millionaire businessman.

Natalie and her family gathered at her parents’ home in Chipperfield on Tuesday evening to watch the show.

The recruitment consultant is up against 15 others hoping to bag the £250,000 investment prize and go into business with Lord Sugar.
