The pedestrian who died in an Ashley Green road smash on Saturday night has now been named.

Bucks County Council yesterday opened and adjourned the inquest of Przemyslaw Kotarski, 41, who lived in Brockhurst Road, Chesham.

He died of an upper cervical spinal injury – caused by a collision with a white Ford Kuga sports utility vehicle on the A416 Chesham Road.

Emergency service workers were called to his aid just after 10.10pm. He was treated at the scene but died from his injuries.

The man’s next of kin have been informed and police say the driver of the Ford is assisting them with their investigation.

Officer PC Steve Lane, of the Amersham-based roads policing department, would like to speak to anyone who saw the vehicle just before the collision.

Anyone with any information that could help the Thames Valley Police investigation should phone PC Lane on 101, quoting URN 1623 of 21/09/13.

Alternatively, you can give the information to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
