Three Hemel Hempstead firefighters have been recognised for long service and good conduct.
Darren Gloyn, Mark Hailes and Stuart Saunders have all been battling fires for 20 years.
They were among firefighters and other fire service personnel to be presented with long service medals at County Hall in Hertford on Wednesday.
Chief fire officer Roy Wilshire said: “It always gives me great pleasure to present members of the service with awards in recognition of the work they have done in making Hertfordshire a safer place to live and work.
“These officers ahve served with dedication and commitment and richly deserve to be recognised for their personal contribution.”
A total of 11 fire service workers were on the honour list.
