A series of postcards have been produced to make people think of Dacorum as a tourist destination.
Residents of the borough are being encouraged to take them overseas - or send them to friends in far away places - and picture them being held up in locations around the world.
The best examples sent in will win a prize.
It’s all an initiative of a new Tourism Partnership, where tourism and leisure providers from across Dacorum have joined forces to promote the area as a great place to enjoy.
The Tourism Partnership, which is led by Dacorum Borough Council as part of its Look no further campaign, will share ideas and opportunities to promote Dacorum both locally and further afield.
One of its first initiatives is a dedicated area of the Dacorum Look no further website which will include information on the wide range of activities to enjoy in Dacorum whether it is adrenaline and adventure, tranquil surroundings or culture.
The images feature sights from the bluebells at Ashridge to Berkhamsted Castle and Tring Reservoir.
There will also be a new series of videos of some of Dacorum’s most popular attractions which take visitors on a virtual tour of the area.
Andrew Williams, leader of Dacorum Borough Council, said: “Dacorum has so much to enjoy whether it’s beautiful country walks, culture old and new or something more adventurous.
“We want residents and visitors alike to take a fresh look at what the area has to offer and to send a message out to all corners of the globe that says, this is what makes Dacorum such a unique place, come and see for yourself.”
