A BUSINESS help organisation is promising to be with entrepreneurs ‘every step of the way’ as they plan for growth.

Business Link in the east of England, which includes Dacorum, is running a series of Planning for Growth workshops – covering understanding aims and inspirations to developing a growth plan for future success.

Malcolm Williamson, pictured, head of information and intelligence at Business Link, said: “Growing a business means different things to different people, but whether they are looking for guidance on increasing sales, maximising profits or taking on more staff, entrepreneurs can depend on the great support available from Business Link every step of the way.”

He added that more than 600 entrepreneurs have attended Planning For Growth since its creation and more are being urged to join them in accessing the support they need.

A Business Link survey found 84 per cent of small business owners and managers in the East of England are planning to grow their business in the next 12 months. The survey also revealed more than half of these ambitious entrepreneurs feel they would benefit from advice on how to achieve successful growth.

Attendees working with an adviser may also be eligible for a High Growth Grant of up to £2,500 from the East of England Development Agency, to help them achieve the goals set out in their plan.

The four-hour interactive workshop is heavily subsidised, costing £30, and is being held at various locations. For more information, and to book, call 0845 601 1000 or visit www.bookevents.org
