A showcase event for businesses across Dacorum is returning to Shendish Manor Hotel in Apsley and promises to be bigger and better than last year’s launch.

Dacorum Showcase 2013 has been organised by Dacorum Borough Council, as part of its Dacorum Look no further campaign, to encourage growth in the business community and to help local companies to prosper.

Councillor Andrew Williams, leader of the council, said: “We launched our Dacorum Look no further campaign at the first Showcase event last year. Now, a year later we are delighted that even more local companies are so keen to exhibit or to attend this year.

“It’s a great sign that businesses in Dacorum are working so hard to make their businesses succeed in a difficult climate.”

Mike Penning MP will officially open the free event on October 18, which will run from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

More than 60 local businesses will exhibit at the Showcase and there will also be a dedicated Skills Arena as well opportunities to Meet the MP and Quiz the Council.
