The owners of a successful delicatessen and cafe in Tring have launched their own range of chutneys.

Toby and Sarah Murray of Beechwood Fine Food on Frogmore Street are now selling Beechwood Country Preserves.

They are all made on-site by Sarah, who uses locally sourced ingredients wherever possible – many from Grove Farm in Ivinghoe.

The range includes piccalilli, Old Doverhouse chutney, raspberry jam, Victoria plum jam blackcurrant jam as well as more adventurous flavours such as cherry and berry and curried apple and date.

Sarah is continuing to develop new recipes and combinations including one using beer from Tring Brewery, which will be available this month.

Toby said: “The old Doverhouse chutney and the curried apple and date were runaway successes at the Bucks County Show.”
