Expo pushes boat out for businesses

Business owners flocked to a Hemel Hempstead hotel for a showcase of local companies.
The Best Business Expo (BBE) yesterday (Tuesday) saw about 200 people visit the 35 exhibitor stands at Shendish Manor Hotel, Apsley.
Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce jointly sponsored the event and hosted a pre-exhibition breakfast networking meeting. There were also seminars on the subjects of sales generation and business motivation.
Organiser Peter Donn said: “We were really lucky with the weather. It snowed the day before and I was at home having babies over it!
“We will be asking for feedback but as I was going around it was good.”

Mr Donn said there was a chance that there could be another BBE in Dacorum but it would have to be arranged to avoid clashes with other events.
