HUNDREDS of eager gamers queued out in the cold November weather on Monday for a highly anticipated midnight launch.
It took two hours for staff at the Game store in Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, to process the long queue of fans waiting to get their copy of new release Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
The Gamestation store opposite had a similar number of pre-order customers waiting to get a copy.
Ben Nokes, who works at the Game store, said: “We easily had several hundred people in the queue.
“It stretched twice around the shop and then down Marlowes. There was a really good atmosphere.”
