A business social and networking group that meets in for an afternoon in the pub in Berkhamsted has been sponsored by a digital marketing agency.
The group, called An Afternoon in the Pub, has been backed by Digital Response which has sponsored a round of September events in Berkhamsted, St Albans and Harpenden.
Group co-founder Matt Bigg, said: “Digital Response share our enthusiasm for the promotion of local businesses in a fun, relaxed and non-pressurised environment and while this initial sponsorship agreement is for September’s events only, we are using it as a test-bed for an on-going collaboration.”
Local merchandise & business editor at Digital Response, Fredric Rothman said: “we were looking for a business social group to align ourselves with who mirrored our ethos of supporting local businesses in a relaxed and informal way, yet being professional and forward-thinking enough to want to grow exponentially. We hope that our partnership will also grow and that we will be in a position to share resources and to deliver a service across the country that truly reflects what ‘local business’ really means.’
