Celebrate the best of British in Tring

TRING Garden Centre is celebrating Love British Food fortnight from July 27 to August 12 by launching a recipe competition to win dinner for eight.

Along with other branches of The Garden Centre Group, the store on Bulbourne Road has set a challenge for people to come up with their very own British recipe. A chef will recreate the best recipe for the winner and seven of their friends to enjoy in one of the garden centres’ restaurants and the dish will feature on the menu in all of the group’s restaurants.

There will be one winner and 12 runners-up, who will receive a lunch for two at their nearest garden centre.

Children have also been challenged with a task to draw the best cake decoration and the winner will be given a picnic for them and 20 of their friends.

As an official partner of Love British Food, Tring Garden Centre’s restaurant will also be serving dishes made with UK sourced ingredients.

Entries for both competitions must be handed in to the centre by 4.30pm on Friday, August 31.
