An antiques-themed fundraising event for good cause Community Action Dacorum is being held on Thursday.

The ‘Crocks, Curios and Collectables’ evening at Potten End promises to be an enjoyable evening in the company of Stephen Hearn, who is a regular guest on daytime TV favourites Flog It and Bargain Hunt.

Mr Hearn is also managing director and auctioneer at Tring Market Auctions as well as the town’s current mayor – and he has given up his time in support of the quirky fundraiser for the initiative which rovides a circle of support to the local community.

The event starts at 7.30pm this Thursday, February 19 at Potten End Village Hall in the village’s The Green, and tickets, costing £12 each, include supper.

Guests should bring along their own drinks and glasses.

All proceeds will go towards Community Action Dacorum’s work with voluntary organisations around the borough.

For details and to book tickets, call Deborah or Louise on 01442 253935. For more about the charity visit www.communityactiondacorum.org.
