Charity collection boxes and cash were swiped from a village hairdressers after burglars smashed their way in.

Police have released a CCTV image of three people they would like to speak with in connection with their investigation into the break-in on Redbourn’s High Street.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Saturday, March 14 when crooks smashed a side window of salon Country Styles.

Money was taken from the till along with charity boxes.

PC Arthur Wilkes, investigating, said: “I would like to speak with the three people pictured as part of my investigation as they may be able to assist.

“I would also be keen to hear from anyone who was in the area around this time and saw anyone acting suspiciously.”
