A CHARITY shop is celebrating after raising £75,000 in its first year of trading.
The Iain Rennie store in Henry Wells Square, Hemel Hempstead, will be offering its customers a two-for-one deal on all of its products on Saturday, May 5.
Shop manager Kim Ramdial is planning a family fun day with a tombola, face painting and home-made cake stall as well as a guest appearance from Rennie Bear.
She said: “We wanted to mark the occasion and thank the local community for being so supportive.
“In our first year of trading, their support has helped us bring in enough money to fund two Hospice at Home nurses for a whole year, which will make an immeasurable difference to hundreds of local families coping with life-limiting illness.”
