CHARITY: A mum-of-three whose husband was diagnosed with leukaemia on the same day she gave birth has been on TV to help the charity that helped her family.

The Hospice of St Francis in Northchurch helped Sian Roger, from Boxmoor, and her three daughters – Evie, Isabel and Emily – cope after James Roger died at 39.

The dad and husband was diagnosed on the same day Evie was born and died less than a month later.

Sian told This Morning yesterday that James held Evie just three times before his death during a TV appeal for people to donate to Help The Hospices. The charity will distribute the cash among more than 200 hospices across the UK.
