A COFFEE shop owner wants a large crowd will wave him off on his journey to Scotland where he will start his challenge to cycle 420 miles to Tring in 48 hours.

Aron Sharma, who owns The Espresso Lounge on Tring High Street, is doing the sponsored ride to raise money for Niamh Curry, whose parents need £450,000 pay for her to have life-saving cancer treatment in America.

He will be setting off from his cafe this Saturday at 5pm and a magician called Sylar Magic will entertain well wishers.

Aron is among thousands of people who have been supporting the Niamh’s Next Step campaign since it launched on Twitter last year and has so far raised more than £147,000.

Aron is hoping to increase the £1,500 he has collected so far with more donations on the day.
