Tring School students celebrate A-Level results

Scores of youngsters a Tring School were jumping for joy this morning when they opened their A-level exam results.

The school, in Mortimer Hill, was buzzing with excitement as pupils picked up their results at 8.30am.

Straight As and A stars were achieved by 16 students.

Jamie Donald will be going to Durham University to read engineering after getting 3 A* grades and an A,

Ian Doughty got two A* grades and two As and is going to study engineering at Cambridge University. Also off to Cambridge is Owen Williams, who gained an A star, two As and a B and will read land economy.

Headteacher Sue Collings said: “These students, along with the rest of the year group, have embraced every learning opportunity and their results are proof that Tring School is a great place for academic learning.”
