A Hemel Hempstead-based children’s charity is hosting a sociable evening that aims to put the fun into fundraising.
Hope for Children is raising awareness of its work running education and healthcare projects in Africa, Asia and Europe through the event, to be held at newly-refurbished gastropub The Old Mill in Berkhamsted.
The event takes place on Wednesday, November 6, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10 including a glass of bubbly, canapes and a raffle ticket, with prizes including rugby and football tickets, beauty products, meals and family days out.
There is also a fundraising auction with holidays and more to be won, and proceeds will be donated towards the charity’s support of street children in Asia and Africa.
Event and volunteer manager Rachel Simkin said: “This is a special event for us to gain support and talk to people in the community while helping to raise funds for street children around the world. We would greatly appreciate your support to help make our event a success and an enjoyable occasion for all.”
