The successful trial of a free kids club in Hemel Hempstead town centre means mums and dads can take the stress out of shopping for almost the whole year.
The free Snapperjaxx Kids Club – held three times last Autumn – is now back with a bang in the town’s Marlowes Shopping Centre once every month until November.
The clubs, which will have a different theme every month, feature interactive performances as well as craft activities and the chance to get involved with dance and displays.
Aimed at children aged between four and 11, the sessions give little ones the opportunity to embark on wild adventures everywhere from the jungle to space, while parents can sit back and relax.
The first event of 2014 had a fairy tale theme, with story-telling activities and lots of action.
Shopping centre manager Vince Williams said of the club: “Snapperjaxx proved really popular with our shoppers in 2013 and it is a pleasure to be welcoming them back to the Marlowes for 2014. It’s great to be able to offer our shoppers regular entertainment and events alongside our fantastic stores.”
Next month’s ‘Robot Boppin’ event will be held on Sunday, February 9 from 11am to 4pm, while March’s offering exactly a month later will feature ‘Puppet Power’. Performance play sessions run on the hour, with themed drop-in craft sessions in between.
