British Transport Police officers want to identify these men in connection with the theft of a bike at Tring station

Police have released images of two men they want to speak to after an expensive Dahon mountain bike was stolen from outside a train station.

The theft happened at Tring Station on Friday June 6.

PC Chris Woolley who is leading the investigation said: “The bike owner, a 31-year-old man secured his cycle in the racks at the station cycle shed shortly after 10am.

“When he returned at 5pm, the cycle, a black Dahon folding mountain bike worth £550, was missing, along with the chain which had been used to lock it up.”

Officers investigating the theft are calling on members of the public to name the two men pictured as it is believed they will have crucial information.

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting reference MSUB/B10 of 24/07/2014.

Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
