Three bikes which are worth thousands of pounds have been stolen in a burglary.
The incident took place between 5pm on Sunday, December 20, and 6am on Wednesday December 23, on Mill Street, Berkhamsted.
The offenders took a specialised ladies’ white 52-inch frame racing bike worth over £4,000, a men’s giant mountain bike in orange worth over £2,000, and a ladies’ purple mountain bike worth over £600.
PC Steve Taylor said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to please contact me.
“It may be the offenders would have needed a vehicle to remove the bikes or could have even ridden them from the property. If you saw or heard anything suspicious please call me.
“I am also interested to hear from anyone who has been offered bikes like these for sale or who have seen them for sale to please call.”
Anyone who has any information which would assist the investigation is asked to contact the Herts Police non‐emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number D2/15/972.
