Three in custody after post office armed robbery

THREE men have been charged with robbery following the armed raid on the post office in Kings Langley.

Jamie Owen, 23, of Croft End Road in Kings Langley, Aaron Williams, 25, from Kingsbury in London and Luke Bernard, 21, from Harrow, appeared at Brent Magistrates’ Court on July 30 and were remanded in custody to appear at Harrow Crown Court on September 30.

The trio, who face charges of conspiracy to rob and possession of an imitation firearm, were picked up by Flying Squad officers at a betting shop in Harrow following an operation on July 28.

The Post Office Convenience Store in Kings Langley was hit on July 27 when two robbers, one brandishing a handgun, escaped with money from the till after failing to get into the cash room.
