Cyclists faced a gruelling bike ride from London to Brussels as they saddled up to raise much-needed funds to help the Dacorum youth counselling service Urban Access.

The charity bike ride set off from London’s St Pancras station on Wednesday and ended 300 miles later at the Atomium in Brussels on Saturday.

Urban Access trustee, surveyor James Perris, who lives in Kings Langley, said: “My business partner, Paul Wise, and his cycling companions have undertaken this awesome challenge to help us raise funds for our work in offering counselling to young people aged between ten and 25 years. This is a very important service and we very much appreciate the support of these cyclists and their sponsors.”

Paul and his three cycling chums hope to hit their target of £3,000.
