Old folk enjoyed a performance from Irish dancers to celebrate St Patrick’s Day on Sunday.

Members of the Phipps School of Irish Dancing visited Mountbatten Lodge in Old Crabtree Lane, Hemel Hempstead, to put on the show.

It was organised by the centre’s activity co-ordinator Corinne Bowgen, who said: “It was wonderful. The residents loved it. They were smiling and clapping.

“There was a little girl who was just five and she was wonderful.”
