A holistic therapy centre is holding Remembrance Day events in support of the Royal British Legion.

Visit the Acorn Wellbeing Centre, Alexandra Road, for tickets to its Clairvoyant Night, this Friday from 7pm at Boxmoor Hall.

Tickets cost £12 in advance or £15 on the door with all proceeds going to the Hemel Hempstead Legion.

Free talks by Dr Vanessa Chambers on ‘the fallen soldier’ will also take place at the hall on Remembrance Sunday at scheduled times of 12.30pm, 2.30pm, and 4.30pm, although the venue will be serving teas and coffees from 10am and donations will be collected.

Helen Lehrle of Acorn said: “As a wellbeing centre we see servicemen and women for counselling so our connection with military services is quite strong and we wanted to continue our support of the British Legion for Remembrance Sunday this year.”
