A DJ who has agreed to dress as a dame for a good cause had an on-air dress rehearsal for his big day.
Daniel Fox donned a dress to kick off his station’s support for a charity event Dame for a Laugh.
The Heart DJ discovered the joys of dressing up in a frock, frilly petticoat and high heels, in preparation for the men-only fun run on Sunday, April 1 in aid of the Hospice of St Francis.
He said: “It’s for a fabulous cause and I can’t wait to grace the streets of Hemel in my very fetching dress. To be honest, I’m always looking for an excuse to dress up.”
There are still places available for the 2.5 mile event, which starts at 2pm at Camelot Rugby Club in Chaulden Lane.
Among the men getting in touch with their feminine sides will be players from Saracens Rugby Club and Hemel Hempstead MP Mike Penning.
