A ‘sweet and affectionate’ dog that sustained a severe pelvic fracture when it was thrown from a moving car needs a loving new home.
Betty is new to Chilterns Dog Rescue Society where staff have fallen in love with her after being left heartbroken by the story which saw her arrive there in the first place.
Betty is a small crossbred aged around four years old. Last year, she was thrown from a moving car and left with a limited range of movement in one of her legs.
Despite the sad story, staff at CDRS hope there will be a happy ending.
Sara Muncke, rescue centre manager said: “She is sweet and loving despite what she has been through.
“Betty is an affectionate dog who gets on well with people and other dogs. Although Betty has a slightly limited range of movement in her right hind leg, she is able to walk well and is not in any pain.
“Betty would love to find anew owner who will give her the love and respect she deserves.”
