Eager punters rush to snap up Dick tickets

Tickets for the annual panto show at Tring’s Court Theatre have been selling like hot cakes in the run-up to the opening night.

Organisers of the show at the Pendley venue announced this week that 85 per cent of the available seats had already been snapped up – and the curtain doesn’t even go up until after Christmas.

Show writer and executive producer Ian Gower said: “It is amazing how a local panto like ours really hits the spot when it comes to value family entertainment.

“We are so grateful to those that support us here at the Court, we may have to consider adding additional dates next year.

The 12-performance show raises valuable funds for the venue.

Tickets are only £10 for adults and £6 for children, which includes a free programme with fun and games for little ones.

And there are no booking fees when you book online at www.courttheatre.co.uk or at the town centre box office at Beechwood Fine Foods.

Curtain up is on Saturday, December 29 and the run continues through to Sunday, January 6.
