Budding young artists will have a chance to create their own magical sand paintings at Kids Bee Happy workshops during the Easter holidays.
The amazing pictures are created by sprinkling brightly coloured sand onto sections of a specially prepared card.
The result is flawless allowing every child to produce imaginative pictures. Their work of art is then laminated on the spot and a plastic hook is attached so that it can be taken home and proudly displayed.
Youngsters, aged between two and 11, will have the chance to try the exciting new craft at family fun days.
On Bank Holiday Monday (April 9) the Kids Bee Happy team, mother and daughter Ann and Joanna Stack, will be in Bovingdon taking part in the Easter event at the Halfway House pub, Hempstead Road.
On Wednesday, April 11 school holiday fun is on offer at the Olde Red Lion pub in Nash Mills when the venue will host a children’s activity day from 11am to 4pm.
Ann, of Crown Walk, Apsley, said: “We had a very successful workshop there at half term when all the children had great fun so we are looking forward to going back for this Easter event.”
On Thursday, April 12 Kids Bee Happy will be holding their first workshop in Markyate. This will be at the Swan Inn, High Street, between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
Joanna said: “Mums are always looking for new ideas for children’s parties and the workshops are a great way for youngsters to try it out. The activity is ideal for any event or venue where children need to be kept happily entertained, anything from at-home birthdays to wedding receptions, nurseries, schools and fetes.”
