THE headteacher said it was “great to see their little faces light up” as he watched his students open their brilliant results.

James Shapland, who leads the Chesham Road school in Berkhamsted, said: “It is great to see their faces light up when they have done so well.

“It means they can go on to the next stage of their lives.

“It is about giving them a passport to their future. They have done two years of hard work for this and it all boils down for many of them to today.”

Jordan Williamson (girl), who got all A* grades in her GCSE subjects - plus an A in citizenship, celebrates with her mates (above).
