MOST students at Adeyfield School will be going to university following a set of results up on last year.
Headteacher Peter Hepburn said he was pleased with the results but admitted the prospect of higher fees would increase the pressure on students.
“We’re very pleased. There have been some fine individual performances and overall there’s an improvement on last year, which is good news,” he said.
“We’re pleased for the students because most have got the grades that will get them into university.”
Among the high achievers were Justine Raymond, who got a B and two Cs and will be studying drama at the University of Essex, and Jack Daniell, who also got a B and two Cs and will be studying zoology in Reading.
“I want to do David Attenborough stuff and go on safari,” he said.
