STUDENTS at Adeyfield celebrated improving on last year’s pass rate.
Headteacher Peter Hepburn said he was pleased with the results, which reflected the hard work of teachers and pupils.
“The results have improved on those in 2010 and this is particularly pleasing,” he said.
Star student Alexandra Burrows managed to bag 13 A stars, which she says will help her towards her goal of working for the British Museum.
“I’m very shocked. I didn’t expect to do so well,” she said.
“I basically lived at school. I know getting good results is good for the future.
“I want to work in the British Museum and be a conservationist – the one who puts the pots back together.
“I got taken there when I was younger. I was really interested in the mummies.”
