THESE little folks think their new children’s centre is great - and so do their mums.

Little Feet Children’s Centre opened in Lagley Hall, Douglas Gardens, Berkhamsted, after spending about a year-and-a-half working out of the town’s Kings Road Church and nearby Beulah Chapel.

The group, which serves west Berkhamsted, now works out of the same building as its partner Sure Start centre Little Hands - which serves east Berkhamsted.

The centre was officially opened on July 12, and already 500 children have signed up at the educational base for families with children aged under five.

Little Feet manager Ben Sladden said: “It’s been going really well so far and we are really busy.”

He said the two centres try to ensure families feel and are safe, live healthily, positively contribute to the community, can cope financially and that children enjoy learning.

Its free activities include music Tuesdays (above). Find out more at www.berkhamstedchildrenscentre.org
