Tring Park School has said that it is delighted with its students A-level exam results.

Six per cent of students achieved A* grades, 80 per cent got A to C grades and 95 per cent of students got A to D grades

The A to C grade results represent an increase of 6.8 per cent on last year and the school also achieved outstanding results on the A-level dance course, where candidates received either an A* or A.

One of them was Sophie Whitwell who received an A in drama, A* in dance and a B English literature.

Stephanie Firth who recently danced in the Olympic ceremony, will have more to be excited about with her A in geography, a B in physics, and an A in maths.

Principal Stefan Anderson said: “We are very happy about this year’s results which are the best for years. These results should always be seen in the context that they are achieved on only four hours study per day.”
