PUPILS at a village school were joined by Hemel Hempstead MP Mike Penning for a special visit.
Mr Penning visited Little Gaddesden School to talk to pupils about his role in government and invited class 4 to visit the Houses of Parliament.
Headteacher Charis Geoghegan said: “The children very much enjoyed Mike Penning’s visit and hearing him talk about his role as an MP.
“We always enjoy seeing him here as he shows such an interest in the children and is so appreciative of the hard work done in village schools.”
Mr Penning also looked around the school’s new improved classroom, created out of an old store room.
The class 4 trip to the Houses of Parliament, something the school is involved in every two years, is yet to be arranged.
