The distraught family of a Wigginton man who has been missing for a week will appear on national television to appeal for information tonight.

The daughters of 52-year-old Simon Brookfield, who has not been seen or heard from since walking out of his village home at 1.30am last Thursday, have been filming for an episode of BBC’s The One Show which will air at 7pm.

Posting on the Facebook page ‘Missing Simon Brookfield’ yesterday, the Kings Langley businessman’s youngest daughter Hannah, 19, said: “So it’s been one week today and no news.

“We are overwhelmed with the kindness and support we are getting and this is a thank you to everyone.

“Please watch BBC1’s The One Show tomorrow night as we have been filming today. We hope this brings some news. We love you dad and miss you more with each painful day that passes.”
