SHEDS and trees were destroyed when fire broke out in a garden at a bungalow in Wigginton on Wednesday afternoon.

Burning embers were blown across the road to a neighbouring property in Chesham Road, where grass and trees caught fire.

It is believed a bonfire may have set fire to the shed and a container being used for storage, which then spread to a row of conifers.

No-one was hurt and firefighters took around 45 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
