Name of organisation
Where do you meet and how often?
Almost every day of the week at various times including weekends. Our social group meets regularly for days/evenings out with and without the children. In fact one group who met through Tiny Acorns just went on a camping trip!
What sort of people are your members?
Anyone with a child in their life – mums, dads, grandparents, friends, you name it everyone is welcome.
Tiny Acorns members are people who want to spend some special time with their little one whether it’s learning new songs and games, making works of art to treasure forever or playing with our amazing bubbles.
If someone was considering membership, what would you say to them to convince them to sign up?
We know there’s nothing more rewarding than those smiles and laughter resulting from the music, props and all the fun, social activities that we use to help our children to learn and develop.
People always comment on how friendly Tiny Acorns groups are – it’s a great way to make lifelong friends for children and grown ups.
Please give us an idea of your activities in the last six months, and what do you have lined up for the future?
We have baby sensory classes (suitable from birth to walking), toddler music classes (from the active crawler onwards), toddler sports classes (from the active crawler onwards), Saturday classes for all ages, messy play classes (for babies and toddlers) and arts and craft classes (for all ages), we also do face painting.
We’ve done lots of parties and private classes for groups – we’re always happy to accommodate special requests.
We have classes across Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Watford.
What sort of costs are involved in membership?
Class prices range from £2.50 to £4.50 per class and it’s pay as you go.
