Tring Park School student Gabriella Henderson got two A* grades, three As, three Bs and four yes-es from the panel of judges on Saturday night’s X Factor.
The 16-year-old (pictured singing) appeared on the prime time ITV show on Saturday, August 18, when she sung a piece inspired by the death of her grandfather.
It got her through to the next round, and now the performing arts student is also celebrating her GCSE results.
The school has announced that 32.7 of its students have achieved all A* or A GCSE grades – an increase of 2.8 per cent on last year.
The A* to C pass rate was 80.5 per cent.
Principal Stefan Anderson said: “We are very happy about this year’s results and delighted that there’s been an increase in students achieving A* to A grades.
“These results should always be seen in the context that they are achieved on only four hours of study per day.”
