A former Hemel Hempstead schoolgirl will be gracing our television screens after her proposal business took off.
Daisy Amodio and pal Tiffany Wright are the brains behind the UK’s leading proposal planning service - The Proposers.
Now their work to ensure that nervous romantics get a ‘yes’ when they pop the big question has been made the subject of a new factual entertainment TV series on the Lifetime channel.
Since launching the business in April 2012, the pair have organised almost 170 proposals and they’ve maintained their 100 per cent success rate.
Former John F Kennedy student Daisy, who is set to tie the knot herself later this year, said: “Our proposals are so unique and their partners have put so much effort in, I can’t imagine anyone saying no.”
The television series, which begins on Wednesday evening and is also called The Proposers, is made up of six one-hour episodes with each one featuring three proposals.
Daisy, a former advertising executive who grew up in Woodhall Farm, said: “We started filming back in May. It was only supposed to be six weeks and then it turned into six months.
“I absolutely loved it. At first we were a bit nervous because we have never done anything in front of the camera but, the thing is, it is our jobs so everything was natural.”
Their favourite proposals so far include an English Castle, with the groom to be dressed as a knight in shining armour, a luxury picnic on a secluded Swiss mountainside for a ski-lover and hiring a boating lake in London.
> The Proposers premieres on Lifetime® (Sky 156 / Virgin 242) on Wednesday at 9pm.
