THERE is still time to bag a ticket for the chance to win a money-can’t-buy sponsorship deal.

Hemel Hempstead Town Football Club is raffling the opportunity to become the team’s main shirt sponsor.

So far around 80 tickets, which cost £25, have been sold but those feeling lucky can pick up tickets any time before the draw this Saturday.

The top prize, valued at £10,000, will see the winner advertised on the first team’s home shirt.

So far a mixture of businesses and individuals have splashed out on tickets.

Spokesman for the club Tony Conway said: “If we sell 100 tickets we will break even and anything over that will be a bonus.”

Tony has even bought a ticket himself and says if he wins he will donate it to charity.

“That is another idea for Joe Public, if they have no idea what to put on a shirt they could donate to charity.”

There are a further nine prizes up for grabs in the draw, including becoming the main sponsor on the first team’s away shirt, as well as pitch-side and home programme advertising.

The draw, which will be carried out by Hemel Hempstead MP Mike Penning, will take place this Saturday when the team breaks for half-time during its match against Harrow Borough at around 3.45pm.

To buy tickets, call Tony on 07932 410070, email tony@hemelfc.com or buy from the football clubhouse in Vauxhall Road.
