Give woolies to help Gurkhas

People have the chance to put their old woollens to good use while helping to improve the lives of ex-Gurkha servicemen.

Bindi Shah, store director at Specsavers in Tring, is collecting people’s unwanted wool at the shop so it can be transformed into toys and blankets in aid of the Gurkha Welfare Trust.

The creations are sent out to Nepal and are given to the ex-Gurkha servicemen and their families.

To donate your wool and ribbon remnants to The Gurkha Welfare Trust, visit Specsavers at 8 Dolphin Square and speak to a member of staff.
