Green fingered gardening fans can admire the work of others during Chipperfield event

Garden lovers are in for a treat this Sunday, when three gardens on the Common in Chipperfield will open to the public.

Burford House, Heath End and the Old Swan House will open their gates for visitors in aid of the Red Cross from 2pm to 5pm.

The gardens feature water displays, herb and vegetable sections, a mixture of flowers and wildlife, along with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy home-made teas while listening to Hemel Hempstead Brass Band at Burford House and can purchase Elborn’s Hardy Plants at the Old Swan House.

Combined admission is £5 and accompanied children go free. Parking will be available at St Paul’s Primary School, The Common.
