A WATER cooler firm plans to create new jobs after swapping its Aldbury base for larger premises in Hemel Hempstead.

Angel Springs moved from its site on the Toms Hill Estate to a state-of-the-art building on Swallow Park in Eastman Way, Hemel Hempstead.

The move provides the company with better storage facilities, improved transport links to the rest of the county and will enable customer orders to be increased.

A total of 54 people are currently employed by the company but this is expected to increase soon with the recruitment of sales and distribution staff.

General manager Richard Blackwell said: “Angel Springs has enjoyed solid growth and progression in recent years and as a result, we were more than ready to relocate to much larger premises.

“We were keen to find suitable premises close to Aldbury that were big enough to accommodate our storage needs, as well as our growing team of employees.”

Angel Springs, which had been based in Aldbury since 1984, has a network of around 30,000 customers across the UK and so far this year has secured more than 1,000 new customers in the south of the UK.
